Much better than the eight track first album she put out. I think that this album takes you there an emotional intelligence.

She is funky. I just decided to buy all of her albums at once. Wish I had got them sooner. Quality r & b here.

I couldn't wait to open the cd after hearing Tightrope which I thought was great. Janelle takes you through so many different moods with this cd. First your energized with "Dance or Die", then she takes it "Faster" in which I had to put these songs on my exercise playlist. There's a little bit for the rocker in you. At the end, it puts you in a mellow mood with "Say you'll go" and "BabopbyeYa". I listen to a lot of Neo-Soul, but Im not sure what category to put her in....but this cd definitely takes you through all different genres of music. Listening to this CD sealed the deal for purchasing tickets to the E Badu/ Bilal/ Janelle Monae concert in Philly June 8th! Thumbs up from Jerzy!

As a music reviewer I am privy to lots of albums prior to their actual release. I have, over time, become a lot less appreciative of this advantage. However, for the first time in a long time, I have realized how lucky I am. I cannot stop playing this album on repeat, straight through. Her vocals are hauntingly beautiful. I try not to get too emotionally involved in my work but this was not the case with this project. I would be remiss if I did not urge you all to get this album. It will reignite your love for music most definitely. Happy listening!

So I know that the album isn't out yet but I venture to to say that this will be the best album of our generation. She gives me so much inspiration and I respect that about her. There is no other artist that I have been introduced to that makes me want to get out and do something great in my community. I urge anyone in the need of an update to his or her musical catalogue to purchase this album. SUPPORT JANELLE MONAE!!! She is a real musician!

Best album since 2000! A true classic. Its like Monae takes you on a journey with her music from begging to end. I recommend this to every music lover. Can't go wrong by buying this amazing album. I cannot wait till Suit 4 comes! My favorite new artist and one of my favorite artist of all time.

I watched youtube videos of the shows where she performed songs from the upcoming album and I almost went to the bathroom on myself! I cannot wait to buy this. She is my favorite artist. I am a die hard fan of hers. This is the best $7.99 you'll ever spend in your life, EVER!!! Get this album now. Don't be late. It might sell out!

Janelle Monae has such a beautiful voice. I know this album will be killer. I have been looking at footage on the web so I am getting more and more pumped as the release date approaches! She has never let me down in the past so I'm sure this album is no exception.

This is quite a unique album. I sci-fi concept album that ranges the gamut in musical styles.
