Awesomely done horror flick, original plot lines, very scary I'd watch it again and again

I'm not a horror movie buff but this was a pretty bad movie. The acting was subpar it was slow-moving and it just didn't draw you in like it should have. In other words it was just a boring movie. My girlfriend was very excited about it because she loves horror movies but even she disliked this movie. I would not recommend that you go out and buy this movie if you're going to watch it stream it on Netflix or rent it from Redbox.

The synopsis was a great idea, but the movie never got going well enough to do it any justice. Rent this one and don't spend more than $7 purchasing it.

Watched this movie a couple of weeks ago. Very average movie, in fact I had to look it up online to remember what it was about to write this review.

The Babadook. Like a good old Scary book. Curl up on the couch and let the fun unfold.

SPOILER ALERT I wanted to love this, but it did nothing for me. It is not the least bit frightening. I honestly think you have to be a parent or at least like kids to get anything out of this film. The only message I got from it was that having kids turns sensible artistic people into psychotic dog killing shrews. The acting was decent, but I will never re-watch this.

The story was believable and frightening. The child actor was great. This one will be watched again. It could surly give children nightmares.

This is a story about grief and how it can turn even the best person into a monster.

not the horror/monster movie you are expecting. it goes a lot deeper than that. a pretty depressing movie but highly entertaining. good work.
