I remember watching this movie in the early 2000s. I saw it again and had an amazing time. This movie is a true underdog story. I loved it.

This was a favorite film of mine in my youth and it looks and sounds great on blu ray.Plus some nice featurettes included.It would of been nice if this release included the historical commentary that's on the new Imprint Limited Edition international release but on the flip side,that release dose not include these new featurettes.I'm very happy and imressed by this release.

Classic Walter Matthau comedy getting a much deserved HD transfer and finally coming to Blu-ray! This movie is a 70’s classic and still holds up today

Looks great. I'm very surprised it wasn't more grainy or glossy from the removal of grain but it was perfect. Can't ask for a better version of this classic.

A 70's classic for all of us that grew up with it , maybe one of the best baseball movies ever .

This is a classic movie. It is hilarious from start to finish. Walter Matthau was cast as the coach which he played very well. He is very funny and believable as Mr. Buttermaker. A young Tatum O"Neal joins this terrible baseball team to be their star pitcher he does a good acting job as well and who can forget Kelly Leak the stud trouble making outfielder who saves the team. He makes them a contender for the championship game against the much hated Yankees. It has a great cast of kids and is a great story for rooting for the underdog. I watch this movie many times a year as you will it is a classic.

the movie is 5 stars and the blu ray transfer looks great. if you're a fan on the movie, buy it. you'll be happy
