    A very deliberate, dark comedy!

It was messed up and oddly humorous. The detirorating relationship between the 2 characters and consequences of their actions were shocking yet funny at the same time. If you have even a slightly twisted sense of humor you should enjoy this film.

A simple yet poignant exploration of mortality. Brilliantly acted, written, and shot. Never self-indulgent. It’s a film we’re only going to appreciaye more as the years pass.

I absolutely enjoyed this movie. I was even laughing when it wasn't meant to be funny. This movie has completely won me over and I'm happy to have it in my collection.

I found this movie to be different in alot ways. But there is a message to all who where friends for long time. And one decides not to be a friend to the other. And most movies today should be more like this in telling a story from anothers eyes on the friendship is over. And the other having hard time coping for the lost of a friendship that suddenly comes to end. The acting by all was great and I highly recommend to all. Thanks

This is an absolutely beautiful film. Martin McDonagh puts relatable, fully realized characters into a situation that keeps getting more and more extreme. It is devastating to watch the escalation. It is a pleasure to see Colin Farrell and Brendan Glesson reunite with each other and with McDonagh after "In Bruges." But the smartest choice McDonagh made on this movie is not making it a rehash of "In Bruges," which a lesser filmmaker might have done. This film is quieter, but no less effective in its impact. What works for the audience as a reunion movie is also sort of a divorce movie among these friends, and the denigration of their relationship is both fascinating and tragic. This film will not be for everyone's tastes. But if it is for you, you'll be richly rewarded by it.

If you've ever been frustrated by life slipping by and not leaving your creative mark, or if you've ever been dumped by someone close to you, or if you've ever known at the core of your being that if you don't leave your stagnate life behind and reach out for the unknown that you'll die in this shanty, then these characters will grab you by the heart and make you wanna buy a donkey.

Collin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson along with Kerry Condon and Barry Keooghan were all so perfect in every scene. I had only watched the trailers and seen interviews of the cast on Graham Norton, and was so glad had no other expectations of what the film was about. It’s beautiful, gut-wrenching, wickedly funny and just lingers after it’s over. I hope Farrell wins Best Actor on March 12th.

This is a powerful film with strong performances by Glesen and Farrell. This film holds some profound messaging in terms of self-actualization and realization. It may be misrepresented as a full dark comedy in the advertisement. While the film certainly has its comedic elements, it remains very grounded despite the path it takes.

Outstanding cinema. If you appreciate fine acting and a nuanced script, you’ll love this film. Try to get past the gore and sad circumstances of the story and the subtle humor will make you laugh and think about the universal human themes explored.

A cinematic portrayal of the puzzling demise of a lifelong friendship that is both disturbing and enlightening. The commanding performances of Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson make this story of a friendship of two men gone sour even more poignant.

Great dark comedy movie - about two friends or former friends and the inhabitants on a small Irish island during 1920. Does get a bit serious at parts. If you love Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson together an entertaining view.
