I wasn't sure I would enjoy this episode of the Batman franchise based on the trailer, but I was pleasantly surprised by the film. It is not as dark as I expected, and the story and characterization of Bruce Wayne/Batman is better than many of the previous film iterations of the character.

Saw it in theaters with my brothers. They loved it had to buy for them.

My home theater give me a lot of action with this movie

The Batman is great movie, it is more of a detective film where a Mystery is trying to be solved than an action-packed movie although there are a few action scenes. The performances by the cast were very good however Paul Dano stole the show as Riddler.

A thinking person's Batman. If you're looking for cute, quirky characters this is not your Batman. This is a more serious introverted Batman along with a serious Catwoman like character that gets this new Batman. Even at almost 3hours long I wasn't bored for a minute.

This version of Batman is more detective than superhero, although he does seem capable of taking almost any amount of physical punishment. Not just dark in tone but shot in low and red light, some will not love it, but it works.

Nice addition to complete series of my Batman movies

First things first nothing is beating Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. This movie was done pretty well and I hope there's another one being made. I loved everything about this movie with the exception of who they chose to play the Dark Knight.

This is an amazing movie and in my opinion the best superhero movie since "The Dark Knight". A wonderful detective movie with fantastic characters that would stand on its own even if it wasn't a "batman" movie. A must watch and a must have!

This version of The Batman is a fresh yet familiar take on the dark knight detective. The key word here is detective. At three hours, director Matt Reeves weaves a good approach where Batman (Robert Pattinson) and his ally Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) doing the digging and searching for clues to solve the murder of a politician while the snowball affect it adds to potential suspects. To a fan of Batman like myself I appreciate the time given to the detective procedure within this film just like you were reading it in a comic book. This movie may not be in the realm of Nolan's or Burton's vision , but the landscape of Gotham is dark and dense while twisted characters like The Riddler and The Penguin and a willing/unwilling colleague in Catwoman keep this movie churning along........

Could of pick a better Batman, but what kind you do, Hollywood always messing up comic book movies'. Still purchased because always a Batman Bruce Wayne fan. Need a better cast but hey what can you do?

I've always enjoyed the Batman movie franchise and thought this movie was an excellent addition. My only real criticism is that it runs a bit long. But still enjoyable none the less.

Great Batman movie. As someone who loves the Nolan trilogy and could never get into Affleck as Bats, Pattinson is jarring but isn't bad, and I wanted something different that the Dark Knight movies

This movie has a dark shadow about it, but it brings many of the Batman Characters (Cat woman, the riddler, the penguin & more) together in a thriller that keep you guessing.

Loved this show! One of the best Batman movies ever made. Really liked Pattinson as Batman. Great cast and story. The movie was a mix between Se7en and The Long Halloween. Can't wait for the sequel.
