Grew up watching these kind of films. Sure they aren't up to todays standards but when they made it was a much different time.. Pure entertainment .. pop some popcorn turn down the lights and let it go :)

If your a fan of Ray Harryhausen's work, this is a must-own. Although he did work on Mighty Joe Young, this was his first feature film solo project. A great movie and worthy to add to your collection. This blu-ray looks excellent. There is a great bonus featuring the two Ray's as they discuss their friendship and tie with this movie. My only (very small) complaint is that they didn't include a colorized version. I have his other b&w movies that each included colorized versions that personally didn't look bad at all. It was fun to have them to view once in a while. Grab this classic on blu-ray at Best Buy before it goes out of print! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Not for everyone but for those who love the stop motion, Ray Harryhausen style you will like this. Also worth a check if you are giant monster fan.
