    This is comparable to some of the best of Josh Ritter's songwriting. Almost all acoustic, missing the heavier electric sound of much of his last two albums, the songs range from funny to clever to bitter and everything in between, occasionally sounding like he's channeling Paul Simon (from back when Paul Simon could write), in an autobiographical narrative of his fall and resurrection from a failed marriage. If you're a Josh Ritter fan you'll love this album, and it's a great one to use to introduce the uninitiated.
