I have enjoyed John Denver's music for years. It was a very sad thing when he died because an excellent musician was lost and the new music he created was no longer able to be had.. But being able to continue to purchase his music is very special. And not just for John Denver but a variety of other artists as well.I appreciate the chance to purchase a variety of music artists work and know it will not be lost.

WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT JOHN DENVER'S COUNTRY ROCK HITS , HE CAN MAKE YOU DANCE AND THEN MAKE YOU CRY. LOTS OF GREAT TUNES "LIVE " ,SUNG JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN I WAS USED TO, THE MAIN REASON I BOUGHT THIS CD WAS BECAUSE IT CONTAINED 2 PREVOUSLY UN RELEASED SONGS ," I'D RATHER BE A COWBOY " AND THE SONG MY WIFE LOVES " I'M SORRY " , THIS CD IS TRULY SOME OF JOHNS BEST WORK AND WE ENJOY IT .

Sometimes the songs are drawn out, which happens in live concerts.But, when they talk in between songs, it is very hard to hear John speak. He was very soft-spoken to begin with.

John Denver live plays all of his hits and with a passion and intimacy that doesn't seem like he'd been singing the same songs for years and years. In fairness, there is nothing essential about this CD, since he also had a wonderful live CD recorded at the Universal Amphitheatre many, many years ago (i was there during that concert). But he still sounds great, and I miss him and his music.

So great to hear that fabulous music and touching voice again. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this cd in my 5 hours of travel between home and family. It was a terrific selection of John Denver's songs that showed his versatility quite well. I would recommend this cd to John Denver fans or anyone who enjoys music!!!

The warmth of John Denver's convincing voice takes the listener on a voyage as he sings some of his biggest hits. You can't help but join in as you remember this great performers haunting melodies and realize he won't be adding to his songbook ever again. We lost him much too early in his career.

As I listened to these songs I remembered why John Denver was so popular. His songs are timeless and cross cultures to bring people together on the things that are important; family, joy,devotion and love, I could not help but sing along to the songs that made me feel alive and be proud to be myself.
