Love the CD!!!! Mellencamp is so original and continues to rock even at his age !!

This is a nice retrospective. As with any greatest hits collection some of your favorites will be missing. Such was the case for me anyway, but most of the expected songs are here.

I bought this CD because it has all of my favorite songs by John Cougar Mellencamp. I love listening to the best of the best that he's done.

This is probably one of the better collections of material from one individual during a 10 year period. From "I Need a Lover" to "Hurts So Good" to "Cherry Bomb". This is the music that defined the Midwest influence on rock 'n' roll. Of course some songs are missing that would have made this the definitive collection. Like "Blood On the Scarecrow" and "Play Guitar" just to name a couple. All in all, good listening, good memories. Great collection.

I have had the cassette of this collection for years. Love it! Thought it was time to upgrade to the cd. Now I can listen in my car. I do not download music. I want to have a cd that I can touch and look at and read. Another great for my collection! Thank you Best Buy for still having a great choice of music cds.

I had always wanted this cd, but always got sidetracked by something else. At a recent visit at Best Buy, I took the time to go through every cd in the store & found it. So glad I did.Just sad cd's will not be sold in the store soon.

I have always wanted a John Mellencamp CD and I am glad I waited. All of his hit songs are on this one, never have to change tracks, one hit after another.

This collection of songs has pretty much every hit that John Mellencamp was known for throughout the '80s, including R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A. and Ain't Even Done with the Night. So if you loved John's early years, then this is the best collection you can find of John's early career when he was at his most famous.

ALTHOUGH I HAD NO PREVIOUS MELLENCAMP CD'S, I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED 13 OF THE 14 SONGS ON THIS CD. VERY GOOD MUSIC BY AN EXCELLENT SONGWRITER.

On the road, needed some electronics, this excellent greatest hits cd was on sale and saved me from being forced to listen to radio!

This is an absolute awesome John Cougar Mellencamp collection. If you are even remotely a fan, you must buy this greatest hits of tunes.

Nell encamp is a legend. These songs are timeless. This album does capture most of his very best songs.

Great music by a fantastic artist! And with Best Buy getting out of the CD business, you can’t beat the price!

I had forgotten how good his older music was. I enjoyed the whole album.
