Grindhouse Releasing has done it again and put the Film and the extras on 2 Blu-Ray discs ( most companies will put the extras on a DVD disc with the Feature Film on the Blu-Ray). The third disc is a CD of the film's score. That being said, the transfer to Blu-Ray is AWESOME. The picture is STUNNINGLY great! The sound quality is equally as good. Seeing some the features, while they didn't need Blu-Ray treatment, are also well done. And having the Movie score/soundtrack, while not necessarily a feature I usually go for with most collections, was very cool to have. I wound up driving to work listening to it. This is the edition to buy for one of the scariest films of the Italian Euro Gore cycle. A classic. I'm glad Best Buy is stocking boutique labels like this and home they expand it to companies like Olive, Code Red, Severin, Arrow, Vinegar Syndrome, etc.

This is one of my favorite Fulci films, along with City of the Living Dead and Zombi. It’s got the same disgusting gore and slightly confusing storyline. It’s also dubbed in English. There’s a particularly cringeworthy scene involving tarantulas.

One of the greatest horror films of the last century. Truly terrifying.

Lucio Fulci's The Beyond is one his more bizarre films, where logic goes almost completely out of the window and man eating tarantulas and zombies coexist for some reason. If you have a stomach for gore and don't mind sometimes incoherent plots (to put it another way, you like Italian horror movies from the late 70s-early 80s), Grindhouse put together a very nice package of the film, extras, and the soundtrack at a rather reasonable price.

Grindhouse has given this film the release it deserves. Great special features, complete soundtrack on a bonus CD, and a beautiful presentation of the film. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend this one!

This is easily Fulci's best horror film. Like most of his other zombie films, this one has to do with the gates of hell being opened. The film is consistently great throughout, has plenty of gore, awesome soundtrack, and really captures Fulci's film style.

    A Real Stinker

I like director Lucio Fulci. Good schlocky horror films. When the graphic scene is in play it is always over exaggerated with lots of good red blood. The few key points pulled out in this description about the gore in this move are the ONLY good things about it. The rest of the movie is so horribly put together. So long and drawn out and boring. I gave this movie as a gift and received it back saying KEEP IT. They could not watch it all for it was so horribly dry. I pushed through to the end. It's the last 40 minutes are so when all the bloody scenes happen, so stick it out and watch it if you are game on this flick. I don't recommend this movie unless you love the director and have nothing better to do. Kill some time with this movie. A few of the actors they used in this movie were also in THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY by Lucio Fulci, and HIGHLY recommended by me,
