I really like all of the important books portrayed. The story lines were true to the Bible. The actors were good, but sometime a little stiff in their acting.

This DVD is very good. It's very accurate to the times and to the people involved. The picture is crystal clear almost as if you're there. The sound is very good also

This is a fantastic mini tv series for the holiday viewing. Since I liked it so much, I upgraded from standard DVDs to Blu-ray Discs to add to my collection.

I truely loved the series it was quite brutal at times, but that is the way it was at that time. I wish that was more about the ongoing history.

This mini series shows the bible in a way my whole family can appreciate it. It kept my 9 year old interested all the way to the grandparents. There's not many shows that can do that for us.

I enjoyed watching the mini-series when it was on the TV and was more than glad to buy the Blu-Ray DVDs to support the creators of the series. I hope they create more great movies/series.

I watched the miniseries on TV and thought it was great. I bought the DVD set as a Mother's Day present for my mom. She thoroughly enjoyed it.

After seeing this miniseries on tv over the Easter holiday, I just had to have it in my library of movies. Every bible story I was taught as a child, is in this miniseries.

I would not hesitate to have a friend get this. Great acting close to the Biblical Story. Not over the top with special effects. Just right.

I enjoyed the movie on television and having the dvd's to watch anytime I want is great. The acting, story line and effects were excellent.

The telling of the life and times of Jesus on the screen. As with all interpretations of the story be sure to test the messages with your own studies. Very well done.

Very informative and captivating narrative. Great synopsis for setting up the lessons in Sunday school classes. Very helpful in prompting discussions of interest among the students.

This is an awesome presentation. It displays very good acting and location shots. Brings more detail to typical movies of The Bible.

The stories have been told over and over so many times, but this is still an interesting take. I am very interested in seeing A.D. the Bible Continues and Son of God.
