Production quality is better than what is usually done with Biblical stories. If you are looking for a series that doesn't stray too far from the Biblical narrative you should enjoy this. A little better than AD series that followed.

The Bible is well made and accurate with decent special effects. They move too quickly at times and combine aspects of different stories at times. The series could have used a few more episodes to expand its depth. Overall, its pretty good though.

I watched this when it originally aired on television. It is an awesome retelling of the major stories in the Bible.
