This TV series is the best, I am in the process of owning them all! Sheldon & I went to neighboring schools! So he really is from TX, he also has never seen Star Wars in his personal life!! Just a Fun Fact! LOVE Them!!

I love the Big Bang Theory,this is a well written show with lots of laughs. The cast members all work together to create a dynamic, endearing heartwarming show. This collection is a must have for all fans of this show.

Big Bang is a big bang in its eighth season. When it began there were not all these complications that were developed and the humor was sophisticated. Much of that has disappeared. What made this series is it took pot shots at the intellectuals as to their lack of street sense. Penny was not the sophisticated understanding cheesecake girl that she is now. She was just plain stupid and the intellectuals made mistake after mistake in every day things trying to outwit everyone around them while Penny watched in amazement. A much better series in the beginning.

I grew up in the 70s and am of the first generation that had video games and Dungeons and Dragons to form our personalities, as we entered our adulthood. I can relate to the group of characters on this show because my friends were exactly like them and we enjoyed everything they enjoy. This also means that I get all the jokes. That makes this just about the best show to come along in many years, for me. If you like nerdy humor, this show is for you!

My kids got me into watching this, and I was happy to find several seasons (including this one) for a great price at BestBuy.com. When my order arrived, I was surprised to discover that two of the discs were missing, as well as the little hinged insert that holds discs 1 and 2 in the case. However, I contacted customer service, and they sent out a new one within a few hours. It arrived 2 days later, and in perfect condition.

I just purchased season one of the Big Bang Theory season one as my wife and I are new fans of the show. We wanted to start catching up with the early shows and this was the best place to start. The shows are in order on three discs . There is also a "Bonus track" on disc 3 which features some production and little known facts about the cast and crew. It is well worth Best Buys low price!

It is so hard not to like all the people on the show! The first season was great with the cast just starting to gel together. It is one of the funniest comedy to come out in a while. It's cleaver and funny as heck! I originally bought this on dvd, but recently bought the blu-ray version on sale. Blu-ray is the way to go! You must see this show if you haven't yet!!!

The Blu-ray version of The Big Bang is a banging improvement in resolution over that of the DVD. The picture reveals an increased level of detail that makes it hard to watch the DVD version. The first episode surprisingly shows a lot of video noise however. The vivid colors and great contrast make it a joy to watch. Keep an eye out for sale pricing!

I bought this season to replace the DVD sets I already have for the season play mode and better visuals. I am note sure of anyone who has not heard of this show, but i think it works for the characters because most of the story lines are fairly mundane sitcom stuff but seeing how these characters react to them are what works in this show.

Review? What's to review ? It's a DVD of the 1st season of Big Bang. That's what's on the DVD - That's why I bought it. I like the show. It's funny - I laughed a lot - it did what it said it would do. If you like the show - it's worth it. If you don't like the show - don't buy the DVD. It's your loss.

This show is so funny. I didn't get into this show until recently. So I decided to buy the seasons on Blu-ray while they were on sale. Best decision I ever made. Can't stop watching. It's like a nerd version of Friends. Which is a compliment as I loved Friends also.

I have watched Two and a Half Men, only when Charlie Sheen is in it, so I knew after hearing that Chuck Loree was behind Big Bang Theory, that it had the potential to be a great series. I was right. If you liked earlier seasons of Two and Half Men, then do you yourself a favor and give Big Bang Theory a try.

This show is hilarious! I recommend this to anyone who wants to catch up on episodes or to get started watching it! I didn't realize how many of these I had missed until I bought all of the seasons. It's perfect for any avid fan since they are not on any subscription based programs like Netflix or Hulu.

If you like Big Bang, then this first season is fun to watch especially several episodes back to back. I jumped into the series with season 3 discs since I recognized some of them on the playlist... but it was cool going back and getting to know everyone from the first season Thanks Big Bang. Fun show

These guys are hilarious! Love the show. Have not had time to watch it yet; hope to when winter comes. Plan to watch from episode one to current and possibly buy the next season too. Not appropriate to watch when my minor children arw in the room, so have a hard time finding the time I can watch it.

I loved this show since I first saw it. I started watching when the show was in it's 3rd season. I rented the first two seasons and just cracked up. I have seen every episode since. I collected all the seasons of Third Rock From The Sun and this show will become part of my collection as well.
