Great game and good choice of work outs with it. Make sure you have enough room before you start the game requires a lot of stepping and moving.

Good choice for your first exercise game.

I just picked this up today and overall it is a good game. The price was right for getting my first exercise video game. My major problems with the game are the controls and the workflow through the menus. Once you are recognized by Kinect and signed into your profile, you can't jump out, and have somebody else jump in and have it load their profile. They would still be exercising on your profile. You have to exit the game and reload the disc to have somebody else use their profile.
Entering in your weight and other numbers is a pain because of the controls. You can't use a regular controller and to move the numbers in small increments can make you feel like banging your head up against the wall.
The body analyzer is not very accurate either, it didn't get my height right even after 3 times trying and moving around the room to make the camera see me better. One time it told me I had a 256" neck. (I don't by the way) You can manually enter in your height and dimensions though if you are not happy with the analyzer results.
However, once you are setup and are actually doing the workouts it's pretty cool. There is a LOT of variety in the types of exercise routines and the way it constantly monitors you to make sure you are doing them correctly is a big help. Some other review complained that you can't stop in the middle of the workout but that's not true. If you do the 'pause stance' where you look like Daria and just hold out one hand, the game will pause and you can exit to the main menu.
In addition to the recommended fitness plan you can do like a "Quickplay" of any exercise routine whenever you want or even customize your own. You can also do Challenges where they make the workouts feel more like a game. The game can also track your calorie intake, if you feel like keeping track, and will give you general health and diet advice.

I liked the options available for different types of workouts but it takes to long on loading a "quick workout". Overall a good game for cardio and core workouts.

I like this game for the most part. It does give you a nice way to workout and pushes you to do it right. You need the right space in order to play it though. Many exercises and workouts to choose from. My only complaint is I wish the menus were easier to navigate through because it seems to take a while to get around them. Overall good game.

Very impressive game. You never know when you get these games if it's appropriate for your fitness and skill level. What is great is that there is a fitness evaluation they lead you through to determine a safe appropriate starting place. ( I'm sure the makers would still recommend getting a doctor's approval before doing this or any workout program).
It offers lifestyle solutions and is very encouraging. Very cool.
Also this being a kinect game,it keeps track of 48 points on your body and can tell if you are doing the movements correctly. You may as well have
Bob from the show right there in your living room!

Great Choice for a fitness game.

I bought this game thinking I would be able to get a few light workouts in when I did not feel like going to the gym. However, this game is pretty solid in giving a range of workouts from light warm ups to intense make sweat boot camp style! It really is like a having a personal trainer in your house with you. If you are a competitive person than this works to your advantage as it corrects your motion by calling you out. Nothing mean but if you are doing squats and not getting low enough your score will go down as well as a the on-screen promt turning red. I know it pushed me to make sure I was doing it correctly. The controls are a bit tricky, especially when entering height, weight, age and other things like that.
Overall this game is great, it really does work you out, as long as you put in the work.

I have not used any of the other fitness games for the kinect so I can't really compare but the Biggest Loser game is great. The game itself really works you hard and if you don't end the sessions without breaking a sweat you just aren't trying hard enough. The only real issue I have is that is seems like the Kinect does not always follow you movements as well as it should so it will affect your rep count. Other than that I am really liking this so far.

Great workout. Setup is easy, but takes a wihle. Plenty of different workout options.
You do really have to watch your movements when you are doing the routines though. Although the sensors pick up your movements well, when you do some of the exercises, you have to overly turn one way or the other to get the game to register movements. Not a HUGE problem, but you really have to pay attention to your stance and to what degree you turn sideways to do some exercises. It is supposed to make sure you do the routine correctly, but can become a pick finicky at times.
Graphics are good, but the amount of characteristics/styles of your avatar could be a bit better. No biggie; just saying.

Affordable product. It took a bit to setup and was sensitive to perfecting movements, but once it was setup, really enjoyed the challenging workouts.

Bob and Jillian Kicked My Butt

I believe this is an amazing game! I have done some of the other workout games and this one is definitely the best thus far. It works you hard and pushes you to do better. It is honestly like having your own personal trainer in your home. It all depends on which training personality you like the best. Bob is definitely motivational and Jillian pushes you hard. Overall, great game. Only thing is the kinect doesn't always track your movements properly, but if you are using it as a workout and not a game it really doesn't matter. As long as you are working hard and attempting all the moves you will get a great work out.

I've played this game on wi and was looking forward to playing on the Xbox kinect. Give yourself at least an hour to set the game up. It's very difficult not being able to use a controller while setting up your profile and avatar. I finally gave up. Once I started playing the game it was great. It really does give you a good workout.

I bought this because it was on sale, I had 2 Kinect games before and I guess I am spoiled. The user interface is very hard to get used to. As soon as you highlight a button, it begins to start selecting it. This can get very tiresome because it will often pick something that you were just trying to scan over. It's pretty much the same as every other exercise game out there, but it does have some recipes for healthier eating and dinner options. If you want recipes I would go with this game, if your more into ease of use and cooler graphics, I would go with Your Shape Fitness Evolved.

My kids are trying to show me how to use the system. I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out. Once I get the hang of it I'm sure I'll love it. I only tried the exercises for a few minutes and was tired, but can't wait to get into a routine.

It is helpful when I can get to the exercises but I don't think I have ever gotten the same thing twice even though I liked the exercise. It is slow and difficult to understand where to navigate to. I do like the thing that tells you how many calaries you have used.

Slow loading time and hard to select options

There is too much time in between each exercise. It takes so long to load that you end up standing there waiting for the next exercise. When I work out I want continuous movement so I end up making up my own movements to keep my heart rate up. I also notice that compared to the other Kinect games this one is really hard to select items with your hand/arm. You have to hold soooo still, and I struggle with that while I'm working out.

First thing the small manual that comes with the dvd is useless, it describes each part but neglets to tell you how to get there. Second there doesn't seem to be an option to edit your profile once you set it up. Third for someone with vision problems it would have been very helpful if there was some audio to indicate the different selections.
I use one of the preloaded workouts, which seems pretty good, it only took about 2 hours to figure out how to get there

There are too many menus. There is a little tiny dot that you move to make your selections and it either moves all the way to the right or all the way to the left with any slight of hand movement or it doesn't move at all. I've had this product for a few months already and I still can't get the figure to look anything like me cuz of this issue.
Once you finally get to the workout, you've been through so many screens that you don't want to work out anymore.
