Aside from the challenge of fielding the ball (maybe it's just me, but I have a heck of a time reacting in the correct direction), this is a fun game. The players look pretty close to their real selves, though everyone seems to have been beefed up quite a bit. Justin Morneau's arms look like they're about 12 inches thick and Joe Mauer's face looks like a Botox procedure gone wrong. But I do have to say that you can generally tell just by looking at the players who they are supposed to be. Maybe with the next playstation they'll get even closer to real life. The ballparks are amazing. Everything down to the right banners, scoreboards (though they don't actually keep score), they even got the seat colors right. This is a great game if you're into arcade style sports games, especially since it's one of the only PS3 games that isn't $60. Probably not for you if you prefer simulation style.

For the price, this is the best baseball game that I have payed. Graphics on the PS3 are incredible. The user interface is easy. This game is made to please amateur and serious gamers alike in my opinion. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys sports games..

This game is very fun to play. You can create a hero, bang into people, and the ball can hit into things and break them when you hit a homerun. Players are up-to-date. The Bigs is one of the best baseball games I have ever played!

When i got this game i did not think it was going to be that fun. but after playing it i was hooked.
