This movie may not be for everyone and there was a lot of controversy surrounding this at the time of it's release, but I think it's worth a watch if you're interested in the subject matter.

Great movie about a preacher who preached straight out of the Bible to liberate his people.

Great DVD! Tells the story that many do not know but that all should be aware of because history could repeat itself.

The movie was great especially for Black history month. It gives off a great message of hope in understanding and has hints of Christianity and how it flowed through the black community.

Nate Parker really puts his all into making this historic film about the former slave Nat Turner. An Oscar worthy performance.

This is very well-made, yet disturbing movie. All the acting is top-notch. This was a story that had to be told.
