Flicker Alley and the Film Noir Foundation bring this rare Argentine film classic to US home video for the first time ever. Starting with the introduction by Eddie Muller, also the host of TCM's Noir Alley, the presentation is a loving admiration of the filmmakers. The extra features make this worth owning a physical copy, including a featurette with an Argentine film archivist, a profile of the composer, an audio commentary by Imogen Sara Smith, and a booklet. The story itself is comparable to some of the best film noir produced in the US, with a plot to commit a perfect murder and an ironic twist at the end. If you're a fan of film noir, this should be in your collection, in addition to Flicker Alley's other film noir releases. LIke the others, it's a dual blu-ray/DVD.
