I bought this dvd movie for my autistic son, he loved Disney movies. Thanks Best Buy for having dvds available.

I haven’t seen the movie but my son really likes it!! Cute and fun characters make it look interesting for sure & it’s Disney!!! Can’t go wrong with that!!

Bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loved it, it’s an old movie but still entertains the younger generation.

This movie is perhaps the darkest animated movie in Walt Disney's early film productions. I would not recommend this feature animation for younger children. They may find it very fighting. The movie is certainly entertaining, and the characters are memorable. However; I don't believe that it was one of Disney's best.

Disney is always great. I dont know how i missed this one over the years. A must see if you havent.

Classic Disney tale with a dark tone. Glad this was finally released on dvd. A warning to parents. Thank film may scare some children

This movie has a great deal of good in it but it isn't quite what you would call a classic. It feels like it sits perfectly in the animation and storytelling of the 80's. You have a theme similar to the Lord of the Rings along with a touch of fantasy and something like the Smurfs mixed in together. A simple story that creates promising characters. You know, this may have been better as a short series or television show. Either way, it is worth seeing and may be a classic to a little one in your home. It can be quite dark and the villain looks a lot like skeleton or the Darkness in Legend. So, be mindful. Otherwise, happy watching.

This is the best way to see this beloved classic before they put on blu ray if they do. Great features good movie

Darker than most Disney cartoons but it is still great. Make sure to sit down with the whole family and grab some "munchies and crunchies."

but this is by far one of my favorites. Loved to watch with my kids. Now updating my VHS's to DVD's or Blu Ray and this was a must have.

It is an older movie but one that is very hard to find. If you are a Disney movie collector this should be in your collection. Great classic Disney film!!

This is one of the darkest Disney movies, but is an awesome animated film. ***Beware for children under 7--can cause nightmares***

Even though this movie has been given a low rating by critics, I found it very enjoyable. The villain in this movie is actually scary, so I wouldn’t show it to a really young kid.

I loved this movie as a kid, but it is often overlooked since it's a darker film than the usual Disney fair.

One of the greatest Disney animated movies of all-time PERIOD!

This is a wonderful movie, it really brings back childhood memories for me.
