Last season's war between Red and Kaplan is over. This season has Red picking up the pieces and working on rebuilding his empire. There's plenty of action and drama (as usual) but there's also a lot of fun. The writers balance everything with such mastery. And the plot twists are non-stop. Just when you think you know what's going on you soon realize there's always more than meets the eye. This is a must own for any fan of the Blacklist.

Love the series and have watched it from the beginning. Will watch it again when I'm old and can't remember that I've watched it before.

We aren't up to this season yet but I have no doubt it will be just as great as the prior seasons. It is great having it in Blu-ray.

The Blacklist has been one of my favorites since it started airing. Spader and all don’t disappoint.

Love watching James Spader again. Missed him since Boston Legal was cancelled.

The series has always been great but it really picks up the pace now.

Good continuing series. Good story and characters.

The fifth season of The Blacklist will change everything you thought you knew about Red, Liz and their world. Action and intrigue galore. Plus the one hundred episode: a good old fashioned treasure hunt, that's a delight to see. And a season finale that will leave you speechless. Highly recommended.

This is sort of a "reboot" season for The Blacklist. One of the main characters dies, and change is in the air. Red (James Spader) has to rebuild his empire after one of his trusted lieutenants betrayed him in season four. Liz has to come to grips with the fact that Red is her father. Or is he? And everyone is chasing a suitcase full of bones that holds Red's darkest secret.

After the big revelation on Season 4, Reddington tries to rebuild his Empire with the help of Elizabeth Keen. The audio and video quality are still as good as previous seasons. I still don't like that the menus are tedious and shows all episode titles when you can't access most episodes. And stop stacking discs on top each other to save money on trays, Sony!

I don't think I have ever seen James Spader in anything where he was less than brilliant, and Blacklist is no exception. It's hard to believe it's already five seasons done, going on six.

This show was absolutely amazing the first 3 seasons, lost a little on the 4th and then the 5th season REALLY disappoints. As has been happening in way too many show, Blacklist has starting being a forum for the writers or stars political viewpoints. Frankly I could care less if you are liberal or conservative, I don't want ranting against our government on my TV dramas. RUINED!! The story line has become too predictable and moves at a snails pace. Red's "rants" are still amusing but not enough to overcome Liz. Her character has become pathetic. I find it difficult to watch her.The hunt for Tom's killer is taking way too long. I have lost interest and really don't care. Finally, the incompetence of the FBI team is laughable. They mess up almost every assignment. How the stay employed with such a high rate of failure is unbelievable.

What's Not to like you can't go wrong with the Blacklist. If you are like me and don't watch ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox then buying it is the only way you get to watch it.

After 24 starring Keifer Sutherland this series, the Blacklist, is one of my most favorites. Watch all seasons to appreciate the story line.
