Though I've not finished the first season yet it does have familiar arrangements like all serials--a terrorist of the week that the main character must capture for his own seemingly nefarious plan whilst divulging only the smallest bits of information to move the plot inches at a time. The show is interesting not in its execution but in its use of real-world examples that might finally hit home to those who don't keep track of current events. Worth at least one viewing.

James Spader is deliciously wicked in this well done show. Bought this as a birthday gift for my favorite son-in-law and they've had a few late nights watching it. Full of twisty plots and great bad guys. Well worth watching.

We watched every episode on TV and loved the show. We are now watching it again when we walk on our treadmill to catch things we missed and now that we've seen another season it's cool to look back at what we had forgotten.

I watched the first four when it aired on TV then couldn't keep up due to scheduling conflicts. I must say the show gets better each episode. The acting is fantastic and the writing is better than any other network drama.

I think that this show is by far is one of th best on TV period. Not just for the new shows. James Spader acts so well and I can assure you that if you like a little a action then this is your next show to start.

James Spader leads a great cast in this show. One actor in the whole series isn't up to par, but all the main players are there. Great story lines make it a series to not miss .... well, at least season 1 ... lol

Network TV offers much that does not keep your imagination engaged, but THE BLACKLIST is an exception, with its ongoing mystery full of red herrings and doubling-back upon itself in such a way that makes you feel that the writers actually know the endgame, which has not been the case in several similar series such as ALIAS, which lost its way after a few seasons. So far BLACKLIST has not succumbed to this. A great 1st season start!

The Blacklist is such a great series. I was not able to watch it every week on TV. Buying the set was worth it. I enjoy watching every show including the ones I seen already. Great suspense in every show !!

This is a very entertaining show, if you are a fan of "Person of Interest" then you will probably enjoy this show. The characters are very well written and the main character Red is full of whit and quips.

The series could not have chosen a better than James Spader for the lead character. Raymond Reddington is such a cool and level headed person, who's always in control. Looking forward to the next season.

I watched the entire series and had to purchase it. I was left on the edge of my seat from week to week. It was action and drama built into one series and was a surprise to me to be such a thriller

look forward each week to this show a highlight of my viewing. red is the best and even though not a hero he is on the good side of life. TOm is a mystery and a real hottie. happy to have the dvd

the blacklist season 1 was very intriguing clever storylines wonderful acting and overall a very exciting series. A lot of series in the first season don't find their footing this one definitely did

My son recommended that we watch the program. Said it was a good series. Caught a little of the second season last year and really enjoyed it so we purchased the 1st and second season.

I had never seen an episode until I bought the dvd set. The reviews actually compelled me to go for it and I was not disappointed. Some of the episodes remind me of the old series 'Alias'.

Husband has seen a few episodes and wants me to watch it with him. He thinks it's a show I will like. I guess it's our new date night thing.. I also got all the seasons.

This is a great TV season Bluray, it is a action packed thriller with a lot of twists and which keep you guessing from week to week, it is like LOST but not as complex with the twists.

One of the best shows on TV right now. The first season was very strong, and since I'm not a big Spader fan, believe me when I say he's fantastic in his roll as Red.

If you haven't started this show, you have to watch it. It is intense but awesome. It will keep you guessing. When you think you figure it out, they throw a wrench into the mix.

This has to be the best TV Show that I have seen on network TV since Lost. Not since Battlestar Galactica has a show had me this enthralled in anticipation for the next episode.
