Classic 1980s horror movie where the remark is better.

The movie doesn't have a poor rating but the Skokie Best Buy Store #302 does. Ordered The Blob Steelbook online and received it very damaged. BB Chat wouldn't help except offer a refund after return. Went to store to see if they would price match to their sales price but it is no longer in stock. I know the manager can make an adjustment to price to match the sales price even if no stock and the acting manager would not speak with me. Not even offered a discount on the reg Blob 4K. 3 1/2 hr round trip by bus to return this item because I don't have car. Lost a customer of 30yrs. Funny story a year ago I wanted to buy a 3D blu ray player and they said they had none so I bought one at ABT, next day I go into same Best Buy and I look for myself and they had 3D bluray players on the shelf. Incompetent sales team!!!!!!! Don't even know their own stock. I am done with Best Buy!

This is one of those rare horror remakes that stands up to the original. I might not even argue if you told me you thought it was BETTER than the original. Looks amazing in 4k, and the steelbook is cool!

The Dolby Vision color grading on the 4K disc makes The Blob look better than it ever has! A classic 80’s creature feature, The Blob has great practical effects and an entertaining story, but you don’t have to take my word for it.

This is a great remake, and one of my favorite films. Great cast, direction and FX. The steelbook design is okay, could have been better. The film looks great and if you like in depth interviews, it has plenty in the extras. Pick it up if you can.

Beautiful steelbook! The movie is 80's monster horror at its big hair best!! I mean it's called The Blob, so if your watching just know your gonna get what you came for! Special features are top notch. Video and sound are a nice upgrade from the Blu-ray

Better than the original. The one with Steve McQueen dragged. This took everything the original did and made it better. There are times when the movie can be unsettling and feels more true to a horror film than the original.

I prefer the 1958 original but love a great B movie at times and that's just what this movie offers. A fun remake with an overall better picture and fuller sound. Recommended for the price drop at Best Buy!

The blob is an excellent remake of the original highly recommended. Too bad Best Buy will not be selling physical media. I will have to go elsewhere.

I love the 1988 remake of The Blob which is my 3rd most favorite horror remake of all time and the practical FX still holds well instead of the crappy CGI junk.

Awesome Steelbook and awesome movie. What can I say? Best Buy has some of the best selections of steelbooks out there and they're always worth it!

Classic movie!! Great picture and sound. Shout Factory never disappoints. The Blob is a great monster movie with amazing practical effects.

A beautiful 4k transfer. One of my all time favorite gore filled horror movies! The special effects are OUT OF THIS WORLD just like the BLOB!

Got to do my yearly rewatch of The Blob with this great new 4k edition. Picture quality looks excellent. SteelBook art is really cool too
