I am a fan of soundtracks, especially dark/moody/eerie soundtracks. I have not seen this movie, but I enjoy the post-apocalyptic genre, and what you usually get with this genre is a very moody soundtrack. I listened to clips on bestbuy.com hoping that this is what I would get out of this soundtrack, but even though there wasn't quite enough for me to tell what I would be getting, I decided I would make the purchase anyway. Though it didn't blow me away, it definitely put its own twist on a post-apocalyptic soundtrack. I don't have the gift of writing reviews that break the music down into detail, so I have to use the cliches. So for this one I will say that is oddly haunting (I am kicking myself for using that one) with a a slightly electronic vibe. I can't place my finger on it but the whole thing felt like it had an low voltage electric current running through it to give a mildly unsettling feel. It is a very unique listen that has stayed in rotation for a while now. I would also recommend the soundtrack for 'The Road'.
