I liked the movie. The content might be better for a bit older kid though with death and romance as major story lines. Great price on the blu-ray.

This movie is so refreshing and different from what we are used to watch, full of color and detail, great story about Mexican folklore. We loved it!

This is a good movie for the entire family, Great 3d. My kids loved it and watched it over and over. A fresh take on animation and you won't be sorry you purchased it. We cannot wait for a sequel. It is a nice addition to my 3d movie collection.

There is a lesson in the movie that was lost on my much younger son, but my daughter loved it. Colorful pictures, stories of the afterworld and seeing family members again after they have passed. Story is set with the Mexico Day of the Dead.

Full of color, joy, and detail, 'The Book of Life' is a unique animated film. Family-friendly, but not necessarily a 'kid flick,' this film truly is a work of art. Some of the music covers are a bit cheesy, but overall, well done film.

This is solid animated movie. Lively, fun, and with some mature themes that frankly aren't graphic and presented in a way that is a decent introduction to certain emotional concepts for younger kids (similar to what you find in Big Hero 6).

I love the story line with the afterlife and it's a very colorful movie and the colors in this movie are very vibrate and I just love it!

This is a very unique animated movie. The 3d really popped out even though it's a bit too much for me sometimes. However, after chaotic first couple minutes, I get used to the style and vibrant colors.

My girls wanted to see this & the price was right...so we had a movie night! Depending on the child this could be a bit creepy when the undead appear & people become skeletons...etc... But overall very cute for the pre teen set.
