A young girl "steals" books to survive oppression during World War Ii showing how the Third Reich slowly took away most if not all of a person's everyday liberties of life!

This is a the sort of movie you tell your friends you LOVED it, but in reality it is better than "meh." It is artistic, and beautifully written, blah, blah blah, woof woof.

It was truly remarkable on how much the girl loved to read during those times and family risk in hiding the person from the Germans.
