A story about the friendship of two boys, one in a Holocaust camp and one whose Dad was a German officer. Very thought provoking.

Film is appropriate for adult and older children I would suggest that children view the film with an adult who can help explain the themes.

Really good movie with an ending that is very humbling to realize that wasn't Hollywood. That actually happened during the holocaust.

Touching story that shows a bond that that can formed in spite of physical barriers and political differences in different cultures.

This was a very good movie...sad, but very good. We must never forget the human elements involved with WWII and how the Jewish people suffered.

The story pulls you in from the start and you can't turn away...even though you know there can be no happy ending. Be prepared to cry.
