This is a film I watched growing up and is wonderful addition to anyone's collection who grew up in the 80's/90's, a fan of good family friendly entertainment or if your a Fred Savage fan. I just wish it was on blu ray.

I had purchased this movie several months ago, but didn't finally open it up until a day or 2 ago. It is a great 80's movies, but after finally removing the plastic, where ever it is the movie came from, the disk is defective. I tried 2 different dvd players (Xbox One S and a PS3) the video freezes the same at the same spots on both devices. There are no scratches on it either. for $17.99 you would think the movie should work perfectly. Wrong. I tried to call and see if Best Buy could do anything with the 800 number, unfortunately by phone they can do nothing, they said I could try and take it to a store, but I have a feeling the answer will be the same. The disk is not even Blue-ray, you would think for $17.99 this disk would work.

WARNING DVD-R Copy

This is WB Archive Collection, it is not an original movie, it is a made on Demand DVD-R copy, and most of these don't play too well. WB is notorious for recalling the originals and putting out a dvd-R Copy which makes them more money and they don't have to pay for marketing on these. I think it is a horrible thing WB would do this to the loyal customers who love these movies... I would rate this movie 3 to 4 stars otherwise

'The Boy Who Could Fly,' while mainly aimed at younger viewers, is still a good movie in its own right with some very touching moments. Nice anamorphic widescreen presentation and bonus commentary. Recommended.
