Memory lane

I do believe it was one of the first Vietnam War movies. Several actors just getting started and R. Lee Ermey's first acting role I believe. It does a great job showing the frustration and chaos involved in that war.

Early Appearance of The Gunny (R. Lee Ermey)

One of the high points was seeing R. Lee Ermey, best known for his role as The Gunny in Full Metal Jacket, portraying a sergeant in a pre-gunny role.

Great War Movie.

Very well thought out war movie. Plenty of action and a strong storyline with a good group of actors. If you’re into war movies than you need to see this movie!!
