For $699 you would think the design team had really thought out the design, but for some reason they put the dicing grate UNDER the rotating blade hoping it would force the food through the grate... I doesn't. Instead, it builds up between the blade and grate and makes a massive mess. Terrible desing! I tried processing cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers (all soft veggies with a little durability) but it just kept cramming them under the blade until the lid finally popped off from all of the pressure. Also, you HAVE to have the pusher at least partly in the funnel otherwise it doesn't work. I get safety, but that means you can't process food longer than a few inches. Realistically, you spend more time prepping food to be able to use this machine than you would if you just manually chopped it. Easy fix, put the dicing grid OVER the spinning blade. With the grate ON TOP, food is diced as it's pushed through the funnel, then the spinning blade, spinning snuggly under the grate, finishes the dice as it comes through the grate.

A heavy duty food processor. This is one the best investment's I've made in which to quickly and effortless. The wealth of accessories and that came with this processor equips you to make some of the best Hummus, Guacamole, Salsa, Salads, Sofrito, etc. The blades which come with this device are razor sharp and should be stored, cleaned and kept carefully. If you're serious about food processing while expensive is a sound investment as it comes with an excellent warranty that doesn't require any additional warranties.
