This series is a great representation of the border problems. Covering corruption of human trafficing and the drug trade

The above 4 names have been blowing me away for the last 8 or so weeks with their solid acting. Each character has baggage and each time there is a revelation in their character's story it is always a surprise. Diane Kruger is the beautiful blonde who came to notice as "Helen of Troy" in the Brad Pitt dud "Troy", however, she has since proved not to be just a German born flash in the pan and has done marvelous work in such films as "Inglorious Baster ds" performing a hilarious, yet fatally lethal, for her, knock down, drawn out battle of fisticuffs with Christoph Waltz, in which her beautiful pedicured toes were sticking out of a leg cast as her character had already been wounded during another hilarious knockdown victorious shootout with the gestapo in the Beerhouse down the street earlier in the film. Then we have Damien Birchir who previously played Nancy's romantic, nefarious, Mexican lothario gangster husband in "Weeds" when his character was punched to death in a Mexican prison. Of course we have Ted Levine who played "Buffalo Bill" the wannabe lady, lady killer in "Silence of the Lambs", and then went on to play "Monk's police chief boss for years after that. And now we come to Annabeth Gish, "Wyatt Earp's late wife in the Costner failure, "Wyatt Earp", the drug addicted/sex crazy wife of the politician to be in "Brotherhood" on Showtime and probably could play anything Susan Hayward ever played. What we have here are people who are tried and true in their profession who can do anything you put before them be it comedy, high drama, suspense, satire, anything, which pretty much is called for in this fantastically written, produced, filmed, and plotted horror police procedural. Don't miss a minute of it. It all fits together. There's even a little bit of that "Big Love" plot going on somewhere in the background.

This drama is like no other dramatic tv series i've seen before. It draws you in slowly and takes you on an unpredictable journey to parts unseen. The characters are well developed and make for compelling drama. The audience is given a glimpse of the ruthless and often overlooked tragedy that occurs in mexico on a regular basis. You will not be disappointed. Looking forward to the next season!

Taking a story type that seems always in the news and combining it a with down-to-earth, believable cast spells success for this crime show. Sorry FOX-TV didn't let it continue for more than a couple of seasons.

This show has great potential. The border of America & Mexico is something not everybody wants to talk about. This only shows a little but enough to get people talking. Great television.

This is an awesome show. The writing, acting, directing, & pacing are top notch. The storyline is both engaging & original, keeping the viewer guessing until the end.

I saw this show on TV and was hooked instantly. The story is great and the production is terrific. On Blu-ray everything looks great and I enjoy all of the extras included.

The Bridge is amazing, great acting and story line. It takes a realistic look at the drug cartel and at the ugly side of it. I highly recommend this series.

One of my favorite shows. It was a little weird at first with the behavior of the female detective. After a couple episodes, I got used to her being different.

We bought this set of season 1 when our cable was out. We became engrossed in it and were very excited that it is back for season 2.

action packed t.v. series that keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next.

You won't be disappointed, makes law & order look like an "after school special".

This show is definitely a little different than I thought it was going to be when I first saw the previews. Some of the characters are very weird but I still really like the show

Very much enjoyed this series on tv but there is so much that is missed, we want to be able to see it again and again.

The product was a season of a hard to find (for me) show. I gave as gift and it was perfect
