    This movie is a great story and tells of the excellence and dedication of Naval Aviators. Set during the Korean War, you follow a pilot through trials and tribulations during the war.

    William Holden give a great performance. James Michener’s novel is a powerful exploration of the Korean War and is a good story. Even Grace Kelly adds to the production.

    The only thing I wish is that this film were available via BluRay. It is a classic with an outstanding cast!

    Great movie for those who likes war movies, nice action and this is before all those CGI, so its actual planes flying action. Highly recommended for aviation enthusiast. Too bad the blu-ray is no longer available.

    Naval airwar and air rescue in Korea. Good stuff, some nice shots of Japan BITD. I won’t spoil the ending.

    I really wanted to like this movie considering the star power cast. But in the end it was just a Korean war movie to try and "boost morale", but never came close to the WWII flicks. Definitely only a 1 time watch - if that.
