Murder in New Zealand’s answer to Midsomer County

All principal characters return plus most of the supporting cast. Their performances are excellent: everyone has become very comfortable portraying their character. The four feature length mysteries are engaging and well written as well as being well performed. I particularly enjoyed the complexity of a Tontine involving multiple families and a priest. Also, DC Sam Breen’s role expands and becomes more integral to every episode. All in all, a very enjoyable 382 minutes plus bonus.

Broken wood is one of the best detective series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Generally speaking the Brokenwood Mysteries are one of the best detective series. Each season has four 90 minute movies following a detective squad in rural New Zealand. Three of the episodes in the 5th series are excellent. The first episode is not up to the standard of the other episodes. However; I would still recommend the set to any of my friends
