It was not close to Grimm's fairy tales although there were some parallels. I guess I just didn't expect it to be so comedic. OK, but don't expect a good rendition of Grimm's Fairy Tales.

Wonderful movie from Terry Gilliam, with Heath Ledger, Matt Damon and an amusing cast of characters.
