I liked the movies because it was told from the dog's point of view. If it was from the human side it would have been boring!! Great picture quality on blue-ray and sound was terrific. My husband and I were quite impressed by it because we thought it would be a dud.

Honestly they killed it, Harrison Ford is a legend and they matched the book better than previously with the dog being the center of it. CGI of the dog was noticable but acceptable.

a great film for the whole family. A amazing story of the will of a dog to be a leader and the bond he makes with a man. The dog must learn to find his place in the world with the man who saved him or a wild pack of wolves.

Have seen many versions of the Call of the Wild book and found this version to follow the book more closely than past movies due in part with the help of modern special affects. The acting was very good and the visual special affects were very nice. Strongly recommend that the bonus materials be watched. Very informative.

Loved it. It is a story based on the gold rush era and the use of dog sleds. The story captures your interest throughout the movie and of course the star of the movie is the dog Buck who seems to understands people very well. Excellent movie.

A great movie about dogs, good vs. evil, life's challenges & triumphs, compassion, and love. A movie the whole family can enjoy and appreciate. Money well spent, as I will rewatch this many times.

This is a great re-make and very well done. The 4K resolution just really brings the beauty out of the wilderness scenery. I would have given it 5 stars if the technology used on Buck was just a wee bit mature. Well worth the watch though and glad I have it for future showing to friends and relatives.

I saw this in the theaters, and knew we wanted it for our home theater collection. 4K discs give superior presentation compared to streaming! The CGI graphics were great - you ALMOST believed the dog was real, but not quite up to the CGI of the recent Lion King. Still a very fun movie and worth adding to my collection!

I definitely recommend this purchase and watching this wonderful movie because this is a best movie of the classic read that was authored by Jack London. Sad ending. Great cast. Great script/ story. Incredible scenery. Beautifully filmed!

Good narration by H. Ford. Animals CGI but because of this, they were able to add reactions etc that probably would’ve been difficult otherwise. Story was excellent and enjoyed the actors. Quality of DVD from Best Buy was good.

The best movie ever done telling Jack London’s great tale on the screen . All others from the past pale in comparison, technology made this happen . Harrison Ford plays his age and earned my respect for a job well done.

A solid remake of the classic book. Very enjoyable and this installment brings more life to the classic story. The acting and coloring is excellent!

We have watched this movie over and over because our kids love the action and drama and the brave dog that is the main character. It has fun humor and good special effects.

My Daughter and family have been (not so patiently ) waiting for this to be released on DVD. They had just seen in theater when the virus closed it down before they could go again. I sent to her as a Mothers Day Gift a Day late. She loved it.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

We bought a Blu-ray machine from from Best Buy. We also bought a Blu-ray movie called "The Call Of The Wild" We enjoyed the movie and it is great quality.

I actually enjoyed the character of the dog and the actor, Harrison Ford. It had a wonderful storyline which made me want to see the movie without any interruption. I could say it was a family film that everyone could watch together.

This is an underrated gem thats reminiscent of disneys early films with its charm and amazing lead harrison ford. A new age classic that family will love

I read the book when I was 6 or 7 years old. My memory isn’t as good as when I was 7 years old. I loved the story. The story was basically the same, but missed the mark. Buck’s call back to the wild wasn’t developed enough. I felt short changed.

Its a little hard to get used to the CGI dogs and other animals, but once you do this proves to be a great movie. The story line is very consistent. Liked the use of Harrison Ford's voice for the dogs thoughts and other explanations.
