Gameplay is amazing, but when the story starts getting good, youre about halfway done with the game.

The game was fun but short. A solid survival horror game. Do not expect something like dead space.

I will admit I was annoyed with this title in the beginning but you have to accept things for what they are I guess; so I learned to like the game little by little to where I played the story 3 times. The more you advance, the easier the game becomes.

A flawed gem worth playing if you are a fan of horror and/or sci-fi. Normal difficulty is more equivalent to hard since the game can be punishing but do not be afraid to fail or you can easily bump it down to easy and it’s more of a regular games normal mode. Dodging is different but very intuitive if you can grasp it. Melee is satisfying and crushing. I recommend it to any survival horror fans who want a challenge and will give it a chance. I believe it will be a cult classic series in time.

This game was enjoyable to play but it could have been so much more. It had the same horror game aspect of not having an unlimited amount of ammo. The stun baton kind of gets rid of the fear of not not having ammo to defend yourself though. It does have a few jump scares.it’s more action based.

Stunning visuals and a satisfying combat system. And scary fun. Dont know why people hate on this so much. Crazy to me. If you love horror, this is a must play. And also one of the best graphical games ive ever played ever!!!!

Dead Space lite can't even measure up to Dead Space 3, the game that killed a series, such a lackluster game obviously unfinished and half baked, terrible writing, and over reliant on combat, a real stinker but not God awful

It tries so hard to be something other than a poorly created dead space. Clunky controls boring gameplay

I was very excited to play this game. The graphics are suberb. But the game play controls are aweful. Movement is slow. Combat it painful. You have to wonder if they tested the game themselves before they mass produced.

The game/graphics are beautiful. Concept of the game is a derivative of Deep Space which isn’t a complaint since not too many games like that. The melee combat can get a little repetitive. The actual game mode is about 12 hours worth. Hopefully future dlcmakes the game worth $70

I'm just going to post the cons: The combat is very dated, highly repetitive, and not at all fluid. Many will not like the melee and it's a huge chunk of the game. It's not hard to get the hang of, it's just annoying. There are no collectables other than audio logs, which give very little insight into or any actual story information. There are no side quests, it's just a straight line to the end game. There are no unlocks, in-game rewards, or any extras. No replay value whatsoever. The story is not engaging or interesting, very little dialog, and much was recycled from the Dead Space series. An absolute waste of a talented cast. Boss drought. There are only 2 bosses and one of them you tediously fight 4 times. It's not even scary. It's incredibly depressing that this is what Dead Space fans waited almost 10 years for. An empty, boring, painted over, watered-down version of great franchise. They keep trying to separate it from Dead Space, but it very much holds a resemblance. Albeit poorly. Does it look and play nice? Absolutely. That's about it though, unfortunately. There are much better action/survival horror games out there right now. I managed to beat all three difficulties and get the platinum trophy in 3 days. I'm a massive gamer and if this manages a sequel... Unless it's highly improved upon, I either won't be purchasing anything further from Krafton/Striking Distance or waiting for the bargain bin. I don't have money to burn on hype. Finally, It's not worth the $70 price tag. At $40, sure, that's fair.

I didn’t enjoy this game but I will give it a chance maybe we will get part 2 in future with good gameplay

The Calisto Protocol is excellent at what it does. It does not have anything crazy new. Very good experience. Would recommend this game to anyone looking for a good action game with some horror aspects.

Really had a great time with this game. Maybe it’s because my expectations weren’t incredibly high for it, but I found the story to be very interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed the combat.

This game is full of horror including a backround of outer space horror type game. The story to game is well done and graphics are great on the Playstation 5 console. Well worth the buy!!!
