All I can say about this film is just to see it. Great acting, terrific story, pinpoint acting and scarier than all get out because it has almost actually happened. Just a chilling film that will intrigue the mind and spirit about our infrastructure and bureaucracy. The PQ is nothing major but does well with stable colors, some minor grain spikes but resolves well and nice detailing with the AQ adequately capturing the dialogue nice and evenly with the rare instance of music popping up sounding good as well. I wish there were more to the extras, such as a commentary by Michael Douglas and Jane Fonda, or an extensive documentary about Three Mile Island incident and the making of this film, but whats included is still highly recommended. There are two making of featurettes lasting nearly an hour and some minor deleted scenes and trailers. All in all, a total must see film!!!!

This is a great thriller/character-driven drama with outstanding performances from Jack Lemmon, Jane Fonda and Michael Douglas. It has an anti-nuclear slant but is still engrossing and enjoyable regardless of your position (or if you even have one). The Blu-ray picture is sharp and clear. It also comes with 2 behind-the-scenes features, though I wish the special features included deleted scenes.

This film came out around the same time as the Three Mile Island disaster. Features three terrific performances by Jane Fonda, Jack Lemmon and Michael Douglas. Highly suspenseful, and remains topical even today. Great film.

This movie is quite an epic that quietly over time has been forgotten. It even had 4 Academy Award nominations. Definitely recommended.

A sad relevant reminder of so few willing to stand against those who are so powerful. Thank goodness for the few. Gripping storytelling and Jack Lemmon was unforgettable.

This is an intense film given an above-average transfer to blu-ray. At $7.99 the price is a steal. Only one complaint, I wish the film had any kind of bonus features. It's totally bare-bones. But the movie is definitely a must for any serious film collector.

The China Syndrome is taut, tense, and an utterly engrossing film that has as its central premise: what would happen if some kind of disastrous event - either natural or human-made - struck a nuclear power plant?

I recall when this Film was released and the 3Mile Accident that followed it. An excellant film and gives an inside look .....

The topic was powerful and points a finger at power and how it places the welfare of the common people at risk just to protect the money values of Big Money.

Great movie, great acting, well done! Everyone does a great job, if you don't know what a China Syndrome is, you will after seeing this movie. Awesome flick!

Haven't seen this movie in along time, so was excited to see it at Best Buy. It was a good movie when it first came out, but is even more significant now.

I love movies like this with great stars acting (leaving their egos @ the door) in a story.

I haven't seen thus movie in years but bought it on sale and it is still a great movie.
