Added to my growing collection. It was a good Christian movie with no vulgar words

This story set in the late 1800s in England Was a wonderful blend of a villages Christmas Story and faith and a reminder of what faith and Christmas are about. The costumes and scenery were well done as was the acting and story. The addition of Susan Boyle’s beautiful voice was a plus. This is a nice addition to the Christmas DVD collection.

I saw this movie in the bargain bin at the local Best Buy and picked it up as a new Christmas movie to watch. It is a good movie if you are looking for something different and not a movie about a Christmas romance or a family that has bad luck at Christmas time.

My wife and I very much enjoyed watching this movie during our time celebrating Jesus's birth. It is as mentioned above heart touching, interesting and timeless. Although not fully based on the Bible's truths it has references to Biblical principles.

The movie takes place in an English village, where tradition is very important, until a new young preacher comes along to take over the village church. That's when things begin to go wrong. However, in the end all is well and everyone it happy.

A wonderful movie with great storylines. A typical Hallmark DVD that will keep you glued to the content to the very end. Wonderful acting.

This is an excellent movie! A true treasure and wonderful new Christmas story with deep meaning. Definitely a Classic with the others.

I had not heard of this movie before seeing it in Best Buy. We purchased it on a whim, and was not disappointed. Not only was it a great price, but a great movie with a good message.

The Christmas Candle [DVD] [2013] is a heartwarming story of faith and hope in a small English town many years ago. A very enjoyable family film.

I love to get one or two new Christmas movies each year and this was one to add to the collection! Love Max Lucado and this touching old fashion Christmas.

I really enjoyed this movie! It is alittle slow in the beginning but keep watching it and it really gets better. A really nice Christmas movie.
