For a fan, this is heaven. Although I will mention that A&E did decide to omit a few of the original bits... which is ridiculous. Among the changes are the removal of some of Gilliam's religious animations, and a new censorship/dubbing of other sketches as well. Funny to think that this wasn't a problem 35 years ago, but A&E thinks it is now... I figured that issue should be mentioned, now I will stop complaining and "get on with it." This set is everything you, presumably a fan, could ask for or want at a price like this. It's clearly a better buy than the other boxed set offered, as the main addition to those are the "personal bests" of the crew... which seems useless if you own the complete series anyway.

Monty Python's Flying Circus is the funniest thing to ever be put onto film and now it's all available on 14 discs with 2 more discs of Python excellence. Every single sketch is here from "Nudge Nudge" to "Cheese Shop" and everything else you ever wanted. The only problem is that some of the sketches had to be censored back when the were first aired and this dvd set contains those edited versions. But no worries since it was only a few sketches and it doesn't detract from the hilarity.

CLASSIC Monty Python, 16 disc, I think it was on sale for 39.99 (at that price I would have bought card board cut outs)!! Now my kids get to see what I have been talking about all these years, we sat and laughed together for 2 hours the day after Christmas. Priceless!!
