This account of the classic tale is closer to the book than any other version on film. It is worth the watch if you are familiar with the printed form. Well acted for a TV movie.

Really just wanted the Count of Monte Cristo film but unable to find it by itself. So purchased this 2 film pack with it and Man Friday. Turns out Man Friday is not a bad film.
