This is the original Crazies movie from the early 70s that Romero did. The disc comes with many extras such as trailers and little featurettes behind the scenes and such. I actually prefer this to the remake they did some years ago. Plus the cover art is pretty cool too.

Not my favorite Romero film, I would still recommend watching it though if you’re a Horror fan.

This is a great movie. I loved it as a kid and I still love it. You have to take into account that this is an old movie! And a low budget one at that. So, keep that in mind..... The transfer is good. It's clear, the night scenes are crisp. There's minor grain and dirt marks here and there but it in no way harms the quality of the transfer. This is as good as this movie is going to look. And in my opinion, it looks fantastic. The sound leaves a bit to be desired. But again, it's an old movie. They didn't have digital dolby back then so take it for what it is. Extras are weak. Basically the same as what the dvd version has. I would have loved more stuff. Updated interviews, bios, etc.. I thought with the remake there would have been a interest in making this all that it could be. All in all, this is a fabulous movie. The plot is great. The acting is good. Romero does a lot with a little here. I highly recommend this movie. If you look past the antiquated technology in the movie, the general idea still holds true today.
