An excellent, yet short-lived, 1990's cartoon. I wish more seasons were made.

Like any great show which tries to use irrelevancy and sarcasm to point out the truths in life, The Critic got canned too early. I'm glad the The Critic received it's own complete series release and glad to add it to my collection.

Tons of fun, just like Jay. Should have run for several more years. The package has a nice ratio of commentary to uncommented upon episodes. Something like 50%.

By one of the creator of the Simpsons, James L. Brooks. Very funny, even if seems a bit slow compared to modern adult animated series.

This show is wonderful and has a lot of snarky humor. I wish it wasn't cancelled so soon. Perhaps they'll bring it back one day.

this show was ahead of it's time. People say that all the time in relation to things that are not ahead of their time, but the critic could have succeeded in a later time. It's basically the same kind of show family guy was.

One of my favorite cartoons growing up! You couldn't beat it! Always wondered if it would come out on DVD. Family Guy fans should pick this series up, I guarantee you will enjoy it!!

The movie jokes still work. Great writers and funny gags. Worth it. Pairs well with early Simpsons shows.
