Finally went on sale/ price drop... Excellent 2nd technically 3rd album. I own them all now love them all.

one very amazing album this band has been amazing since day 1 this band is just seriously is awesome they truly are the best of the best i do not care what people say about the crusade album because this is one of my most favorite albums by trivium this band seriously rocks they truly are the best of the best

One of the leaders of a new wave of metal bands emerging within the past five or six years. These guys are the full package. Keeping a long line of tradition going and taking what they have inherited from they're forefathers and improving upon it. I could not choose between The Crusade and Ascendancy because honestly they are both on my top ten list. Word to the wise, get them both.

If you're thinking of buying this album because you liked Ascendancy DONT!! Trivium completely changes their sound on this album and they failed with it. I would much rather listen to the REAL metallica than a cheap copy of metallica. This is why i now call Trivium "Tritallica". This is bad music and sadly it gets labeled as being metal when it is truly an embarrassment to the genre.

if you are thinking about buying your first Trivium album, start with Acendancy and Next Shogun. Then move on to their other music so you respect it more. Its an okay album but definately not my favorite.
