The Dark Crystal is a strange and unique movie for audiences. The movie was shot on an aspect ratio of 2.39:1, so expect black bars on the top and bottom. The picture quality is excellent with great detail preservation. The audio track is excellent as well leaving you emerged in the movie’s world.

With this movie you either hate or love it Yeah it is not the best effects around but for it’s time it was mesmerizing. And the story was not half bad Jim Henson was ahead of his time Shame the movie tech was still in its infancy to help out this master of puppets If you want a story of adventure and sacrifice and you got some time to spare Give it watch who knows you might just become a fan and want to catch the new one the N service is going to release on streaming

This is a timeless classic for puppet films and there hasn't been another that has come close to this classic. The story and the movement of the puppets are something to see and enjoy at home from time to time. You will do yourself a favor by owning this movie and sharing it with others.

The picture and sound are pretty good and the story is just so-so. I blind bought this and my advice to those considering the purchase is to watch this movie first. That said, no regrets adding this movie to my collection

One of the best muppet movies out there. No crazy ideology just a good story.

The fantasy films of Jim Henson were a distinctly unique part of 80s cinema geared toward young audiences and this release of Dark Crystal is beautiful. The 4k restoration is awesome, and the nostalgia smooths over some of the more dated elements. Essential for all 80s kids.

So i bought this movie because it was a family favorite and childhood flick i would always be watching and rewatching it now, i now understand why i have night terrors and ptsd of freakin muppet lookin creatures touching my anus_hole and slapping around my weak and gimp looking ass_cheeks. This movie is freakin terrifying and I really wish I could've waited a decade before first watching it. But other than the period blood finger-painting ptsd, its a great film.

I've seen this movie a handful of times when i was younger and loved it. I recently was in the store and came across the digi pack blu ray and had to pick it up. This movie really is in its own category. Its very unique and well worth a watch if you have not seen it.

What in the name of the muppets were they thinking? The answer simple makes a crazy fantasy film that is still today one of the most visually stunning movies made. The book itself is inexpensive and has so many great special features to keep you entertained for hours.

My wife loves this movie, when i found it with the digital code i had to get it for her.

One of my top to Henson based movies. Labyrinth being number one. Still great on 4K compared to the prior Blu-ray release.

This movie is very underappreciated. But among thse who know this it is very overappreciated . ths packaging is fantastic thpugh.a low plastic high magazine paper package designed like a book. For the price ($5 when i purchased) it was an amazing steal.

I have been wanting to add this gem to my collection for a while and when I saw it on Blu-Ray I immediately picked it up. Works perfectly in my player and looks fantastic on my 4K television. If you are into Sci-Fi or Fantasy this is a must have.

This is an amazing steelbook and remaster if you can find it. Sold out quickly at my local Best Buy. As it is old, don't have your expectations too high for picture quality. However, the ability to watch it free of upscaling artifacts is great.

I grew up with this movie and have fond memories of it. The craftsmanship of the puppets is jaw dropping in 4k. They do not make movies like this anymore. Looking forward to the prequel that Netflix is making and hope that it maintains the quality.
