This movie didn't receive too much attention but it was a great film. 4K looks great, the colors really pop with the HDR. This movie sets a story of demons searching for a special soul to steal that will allow the devil to take over the kingdom. This one has great special effects and acting as well. You can't go wrong with this flick!

I enjoyed the movie because I didn't read the novels so, no expectations or horrors that I don't know about. One day, I shall read the 7 novels or atleast the first two and see what all the fuss is about. Steven King is a great writer but his vision probably is too big and bold for a single movie with ok funding from a studio. Go Big and bad, if you can find someone to get Kings' true words on screen. Maybe, Netflix will bring it to life. Anyway, Elba and McConaughey are eye candle in a world of fantasy and sci-fi. Its a ok, film.

Sure they tried to fit way too much into one movie, and unfortunately will not be continued (until the amazon show) but it was a fun little guilty pleasure while it lasted.

Good movie now in 4K can be enjoyed in all it's theatrical glory at home .

I did enjoy the movie and I was wondering how they would put all those books into one movie. Not a bad job but I understood it better than my wife who did not read the books.

I never read the books, so I came to this movie with an open mind. I was really just curious to see the take on their version of different realms. It's not bad.

Great price - Black Friday. Waited to watch until my recent birthday. I read all of the Gunslinger novels over the years and was interested how the movie would turn out. I enjoyed the movie and am now re-reading the novel and then will re-watch the movie. Watch the movie if you like action.

I've been a fan of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series from the beginning. While the movie is only a condensation of the whole series I can understand that it's just not possible to include all the different tendrils of all the different plots and subplots involved. "A" for effort though.

I found the movie to be very enjoyable despite some of the negative reviews. if you've read the book then I'm sure it won't live up but most don't.

I bought this as I was really jonesing to see it. Passed it up in theaters and once I saw it, I wish I had gone to the big screen. Idris is on point with acting, regardless of his role, this is one he knocked out of the park. Matthew does pretty decently as the villain.

The Dark Tower is an interesting movie and has many good concepts. However, the movie was not executed to its full potential. I will not lie that this 4K version looks freaking amazing. It has crazy amounts of detail in every scene and you can every little pore on the actors faces. The great thing about this movie is that it is short, but I say rent the movie first to see if you love or like. If you do then go out and buy it when its super cheap.

Definitely worth purchasing in 4K. Steelbook is nice! Underrated movie imo, Idris Elba & Matthew McConaughey are great in their roles.

I love this movie. I wish they would make a pqrt two. I love the steel box case it came in. Customer service was also great at Best Buy.

Couldn’t beat the price for the 4k and quality sound. Enjoyable action and gun play. Not at all like the book, but that’s not why I bought it.

Without having read the dark tower series I can't say how true to the story it is. I can say that while enjoyable it did leave a few plot holes.

The book is always better then the movie but this move is about the same. I enjoy watching this movie and A great addition to my collection

I was surprised on how much my older kids liked this movie! I thought it was good but probably wouldn’t watch it more than once or twice.

This movie tries hard to stick with the original written story....and while it does, it could be a bit more developing of characters...

My favorite book series, the movie is good I know it got bad reviews but I enjoyed it, and the steelbook is awesome looking
