I got this movie out of the 3.99 bend and I loved it! Great action Idris Elba was fantastic! The kid was a great actor as well!

Visually I was expecting a little more but with that said I really like this movie great story great acting and really fun to watch.

I'm not Stephen King fan because of his idiot views on social issues. I do like this movie and won't hold it again his ignorance.

It is visually stunning, but extremely confusing and disorienting to anyone who may have preconceived notions from the The Dark Tower series. That does, however, mean you can watch it and not feel afraid of spoilers-- so that works out.

Movie is just another typical action movie. Nothing special. Which is a shame because the source material is so much more

If you’re a 4K and surround sound fanatic or just like to watch a good movie that you can watch again and again, this is it.

Interesting plot, you would of thought a futuristic hero character would be chosen a better pistol than a single action revolver.

I have read the book series and really loved the movie. I wished they had stayed with the original plans and made a TV series.

I didn't get to see this in the theater but have been a fan of the graphic novel and since this was adapted for the Big Screen with some really good actors, I bit hook line a sinker when this came out on 4K UHD. Well, the visual and sound did not disappoint. It hit all the bench marks expected of a 4K movie with HDR. The thing I didn't like about the movie was the pacing. It seemed rather rushed with very little character development. For anyone not familiar with the novel would no doubt be lost with everything going on from the get go. So I am giving this a lower review than it deserves based on STORY and not the Quality of the presentation. Not my favorite movie but still for what it's worth It wasn't half bad.

I thought this was a good movie despite the reviews of the critics. A good story with great acting. Pretty good action to.

Got this on sale as well. Very good deal. Skipped this film in theaters but I look forward to checking it out now!!

Both Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba did so great in this movie. Suspenseful moments kept my eyes glued to the tv.

Excellent movie a true fantasy fictional movie with a wonderful cast lots of action and suspense a good vs evil plot

It's a strange film some of the action scenes are pretty good but there's also some ridiculous CGI

I have just about every Stephen King movie available on blu-ray in my library, due to my love of horror, and The Dark Tower has been the latest addition. I saw this film in theaters and was a bit underwhelmed just due to its short length and lack of grandeur, considering the source material and all. This is actually one of the very rare instances where a modern movie should have been longer and/or a franchise. With that said, the film itself is good, emotive and enjoyable, especially when taken outside of the contextual expectations we are all likely to associate with it. Recommended, despite the aforementioned minor setbacks.
