This movie is shot in Black and White. Considering it's age it holds up pretty well. I have to confess to being a fan of Errol Flynn, Basil Rathbone and David Niven. The acting is great and aerial acrobats are good for their day. The planes on the ground appear to be authentic Entente issued kites. But the planes used to dog fight are not planes flown during the Great War. Regardless, it gives a glimpse into the First Air War above the trenches.
