It's the usual Jim Jarmusch monotone delivery by his cast, but made even worse by him being out of his element in the horror genre. A lot of people have done this much better, but JJ falls flat with his usual pretentious delivery. Poor casting (Selena Gomez? Darth Solo?) doesn't help. Even all the zombie references couldn't save this dumpster fire. Not worth the purchase price. Save this one for Netflix if you really need to watch it.

We thought it was an OK movie. Probably should have just rented it. My son in law really liked it though. It was a little slow moving.

The way this story is acted,directed isn't going to be for everyone. It's got that art house style humor that sometimes goes over the heads of some. There's a lot of good things the story does right because it's a unique twist on the zombie genre but there's also some missed opportunity to satisfy a wider audience. It also tries to tie in an environmental message but it's absurd but the so is the dead coming to life. Over all a great cast of actors who carry the story despite its pacing.

I did not know what to expect when this movie was released and I came to the conclusion that the movie really is a mixed bag that doesn't know what it wants to be. Whether or not you will enjoy this movie is based on personal preference for dry, senseless humor, but this is a really hard movie to recommend to anyone without some kind of qualifier description.

Funny movie in a silly type of way. Love the references to the actors other movies. It’s lighthearted and a good watch for both adult and kids.

The humor in this movie is not your typical comedy variety. It is slightly offbeat, as is the movie. I enjoyed it, and was amused with some decent laughs.

This movie was awful. I was so excited to see this movie because of the trailer and the cast. It's terrible, slow as can be, lame plot, poor cgi, ridiculous ending. If you want to see the entertaining bits, save yourself the time and watch the trailer. Nearly 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. Wish I could get my money back, sigh.

This is a low-key parody/satire on zombie movies. As a science fiction fan, I appreciated the parody. Part of the fun is watching accomplished actors play the characters in a low-key, underwhelming way - Bill Murray, Adam Driver, & Tilda Swinton. I had seen it on a movie channel and decided to purchase the DVD so I could enjoy it again at my leisure.

A silly yet entertaining film. Adam Driver and Bill Murray's chemistry is pretty good. Don't regret this purchase.
