The Deer Hunter shows the stress and tragic effects war has on a group of friends from a Pennsylvania industrial town. It affects them all in different ways. The cast is phenomenal.

An amazing classic film that deserves your attention and money. The 4k version is the must own of all editions. Strong visual and audio presentation with a film that is powerful.

Crystal clear 4K with incredible sound. I saw a pristine 35mm print of this a few years ago and this disc is right up there with it. I recommend this wholeheartedly.

The only reason I actually bought this was because this was the first movie Meryl Streep got and Oscar nomination for. Still I like the blu ray as the cover art is great and the movie was good too.
