First off, before I go into the critical part of this review, I will say that I admire anyone out to tackle a 'voodoo' movie in this day and age. The concept of voodoo has been done in the film world only about a zillion times - and after you watch a few of them they all start to look the same (at least to me they do). I wanted to see this one because it's new, and I wanted to see if the storyline could present the old (probably more like ancient) concept of voodoo (which is connected to the spirit world) in a new and exciting way. Unfortunately though, this came across as another average, run-of-the-mill attempt at a voodoo story. If one is going to make a film like this, it has to have some new and exciting (maybe experimental) twists, because otherwise it winds up as just another one of 'those' movies. The concept of voodoo is largely exaggerated in movies, and it isn't an easy concept to get across onscreen effectively. But kudos to the writers, actors and anyone else involved with this production for trying; it wasn't bad overall, but for me there just wasn't enough of an effort to dress up a largely-overused supernatural concept to give it a stellar review.

Yet another solid release from the IFC MIDNIGHT label. Dolls blends supernatural elements with a slasher vibe that doesn't feel forced. I'm always looking for different types of films especially within the horror genre. IFC MIDNIGHT is one of those boutique labels that have a style all to their own. So glad BB continues to stock these fun little films at competitive prices.

This movie was worth buying and watching. I own just about every horror movie known to cinema and I actually thought that this movie wasn't bad at all. I've seen a lot of bad movies that weren't worth buying but if you truly love scary movies like I do than you will like this movie!

This Film was better than I expected. First glance of the cover art made me a little skeptical; however I decided to give the film a chance after reading the films description and found myself pleasantly surprised at what a good movie I was watching

It has a very good start, but maybe doesn't keep the tension enough through the whole movie. Has good moments and a decent story, dealing a lot with police investigation kind of thriller, but maybe i was expecting i little bit more.

I love "B" horror films. There are a lot of very good ones out there. Unfortunately, The Devil's Dolls is not one of them. I enjoyed the other films that Padraig Reynolds has made. The idea of worry dolls is interesting. The film itself not so much. Gaping plot holes, sub par acting. Decent gore though. Recommended if it's pouring outside and you have absolutely nothing to do.

This is your typical "corny" horror movie that could have so much more potential if it was written better

This one was a little slow at times but was a good effort from IFC. Good one to have in the collection.

I picked this up by chance based on a friends pick. I am so glad that I did. This movie has it all, if you like your movie gory. This film has good jumps, great kills, and a very good script for a low budget picture. If you like your horror as much as I do, pick this one up.

This movie reminded me of a early 60s cheap horror film

The movie is about a killer that puts a cures in stick dolls that who ever buys the stick dolls gets possessed by evil stick dolls

C grade horror flick has a few good moments but quickly forgettable.

Waste of time watching this but the wife likes scary movies.

Another eerie movie from IFC. A great addition to any horror collection.
