First off you need to watch the original The Room movie before sitting down for this one. A movie that is best watched with a group of friends with plenty of cheap beer sitting close by. This hits all the high points of the disastrous movie and while I think this is more imitating than acting it does this very well.

As a member of a local historic movie theater I see up to 100 new films each year. This was a MUST OWN after seeing it several months ago. BRILLIANT performance by the Franco Brothers. I knew nothing about the plot and left the theater wanting to see it again which is always my sign of a "film to own."

The most amazing thing is that this is a true story. Stranger than fiction? Definitely. Franco does a stellar job in both acting and directing. His "New Orleans" accent is a riot and purposely over acting and just acting badly must be difficult for someone with Franco's skills but he does it admirably.

I cannot recall the last time I laughed this hard at a movie. If you love "The Room," you're going to love "The Disaster Artist." If you love cringe-worthy comedy, you're going to love "The Disaster Artist." And if you loved the great Tim Burton film "Ed Wood," you'll love "The Disaster Artist," too.

The Cult Classic know as The Room gets a behind the scenes story in The Disaster Artist. James Franco does a great job starring as Tommy Wiseau!! You really have to admire Tommy Wiseau's passion for his flawed but entertaining drama! Highly recommend to watch this movie, very interesting.

A Great Film About Making A Movie

This films shows what happens when someone who thinks they know what they are doing and has the money to follow through creates something. It might end up completely different than what was intended but might just become a bigger sensation for those reasons. The acting is great and it makes you want to see the film that this film shows the making of, The Room.

What an interesting idea to take a more in depth look at what some call the worst film of all Time. James Franco humanizes tommy in a way that makes this movie feel very relatable for a character who is completely unrelatable in “the room”. Worth a watch if you enjoy the original film or even if you just like other Seth rogan comedies.

"The Disaster Artist" may be one of the funniest and touching films since Mel Brook's original "The Producers." The wackiest part is that most of it is true! The Blu looks and sounds great. The main reason to purchase this disc is for the extras. They are priceless.

James Franco transforms into Tommy Wiseau in this movie. There is an audio commentary on the special features that makes this worth the purchase. If you're a dreamer, please buy this movie! The underdog Tommy Wiseau made his dream come true...He became famous and adored.

I never like to read too much about a movie before I buy/see it, so this one came as a surprise. The main reason I got it was because the Franco brothers can be funny, so I thought I would give it a try. The Best Buy Sale price made it worth it. Can't go wrong for 8 bucks!

Well, my younger brother (Jeffrey Alabaso) has purchased himself a Blu-Ray/DVD copy of "The Disaster Artist," thanks to his birthday. In fact, he would rather watch that movie more than myself.

James Franco's The Disaster Artist was a film version of the making of The Room.....the so called, Citizen Kane of bad films. Was The Room the worse film ever? I don't think so.....but it was entertaining in a none intended fashion....anyhow, The Disaster Artist is an interesting film...

One of the best film of 2017, this movie is painfully funny and surprisingly sincere in this story of the best-worst movie ever made. A genuine pleasure to watch

Ok, so I’ll admit I bought this just because the Franco brothers we in it. I didn’t really know that much about it. I was seriously impressed with the acting. I felt like it took a bit to hook me in, but at the end I was surprised that this was based on a true story.

You don't need to see "The Room" to get this movie. James Franco did a great job in this movie, funny as heck. Dave Franco sold his character as well too. This movie is hilarious yet emotional, check it out.

This film gives a reason to the saying “it’s so bad that it’s good” for the cult classic the room. James Franco and his brother Dave are great as the leads and there’s even a cameo by Bryan Cranston!

The Franco brothers, James especially, did a great job portraying Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero. There are quite a few laughs in watching this film about the making of the worst film in history, but both actors bring a sense passion that makes you root for them.
