"The Doors" is one of my absolute favorite movies and one of my favorite bands. I have owned this movie on VHS, two DVD editions, and blu-ray. The 4K UHD version surpasses them all. Remastered in Dolby Vision, this release look absolutely stunning. And the Dolby Atmos soundtrack will bring your home theater speakers to a new level. If you are a fan of this movie, this is a must-have.

The 4K transfer is amazing compared to the Blu-ray from over a decade ago, the audio mix is immersive! Definitely a title to add to your library whether you're a fan of The Doors or not. Physical media will always be superior to streaming.

The way Oliver Stone put it all together! Showing the singer tragic ways! And the music (electrifying) !!!!

A lot of people complain about the inaccuracies of this film, but if you watch the film knowing that there's some facts mixed in with the typical Hollywood hype. Then, you wont be disappointed.

The film can be a bit polarizing. Its Oliver Stone, what can you say. I happen to really enjoy it. The 4K Blu-ray has excellent Dolby Vision and a fantastic Atmos track. The source picture quality is a bit soft which dampens the overall picture quality a bit unfortunately. But still highly recommended.

Bought this for the extras. Movie is ok but the extras are nice to watch after you’ve seen the movie. Improved colors and some additional stuff added in one of the scenes

Val Kilmer does an excellent job portraying Jim Morrison he even sang the songs himself in my opinion he came very close to sounding and looking like Jim. Truly amazing!!

There should be no doubt and why this movie should be but it is one of the most iconic films about Jim Morrison and protrays his life accurately

I saw this when it came out, in the theater. I always thought that Val Kilmer did an amazing job as Morrison. The 4K version is great.

A landmark Stone flick saluting the Doors, their music and more importantly, what lay beneath the surface. Highly recommended.

I loved watching this for the first time as a teenager, so entertaining & Val Kilmer was a great casting choice.
